Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2025

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Yachtee platform, a service connecting yachting professionals available for daywork with recruiters (captains, owners, fleet managers).

2. Registration

Access to the platform's features requires creating an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Profiles and content

You are responsible for the content of your profile (information, certifications, photo). You warrant that the information you publish is accurate and does not infringe any third-party rights. Yachtee reserves the right to remove any inappropriate or fraudulent content.

4. Daywork alerts

Daywork alerts are temporary availability signals. By activating an alert, you agree that your position, location, and optionally your GPS coordinates will be visible to registered recruiters on the platform for the duration of the alert.

5. Messaging

The built-in messaging feature is reserved for professional exchanges related to recruitment. Any abusive use (harassment, spam, unlawful content) will result in immediate account suspension.

6. Free for crew

Access to the platform is free for crew members. Yachtee reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future, with no retroactive effect on existing free features.

7. Limitation of liability

Yachtee is an intermediary platform. We are not party to any agreements concluded between crew and recruiters. Yachtee does not guarantee the accuracy of profiles, the actual availability of crew, or the quality of recruiters. Users acknowledge that they use the platform at their own risk.

8. Account suspension and deletion

Yachtee reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in the event of a breach of these terms, fraudulent behaviour, or prolonged inactivity (more than 24 months).

You may delete your account at any time from your profile or by contacting contact@yachtee.io.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts.
